What is Humanbased

Humanbased is a system in which Developers and Contributors work together to produce, review, and deliver data.

The two primary roles

Developer

A Developer creates Campaigns inside an Organization and defines the work, participation requirements, quality rules, Rewards, budget, and final data delivery path.

Contributor

A Contributor finds eligible Campaigns, completes individual Tasks, and uses Contributions and Earnings to follow Submissions, review results, and Rewards.

The core workflow

1. A Developer creates and launches a Campaign.
2. The Campaign Pipeline defines participation requirements, human work, quality checks, acceptance, and data delivery.
3. An eligible Contributor claims and completes a Task.
4. Each completed Task creates a Submission.
5. A Submission that passes the applicable checks and Accept can continue through the delivery path.
6. Sink can write accepted results to a Dataset. Add ETL between Accept and Sink when the delivery fields require transformation.
7. Accepted work that meets the Reward conditions enters Contributor Reward processing.

Campaign → Pipeline → Task → Submission → Acceptance → Dataset / Reward

The statuses of these objects are independent. For example, one Live Campaign can contain Submissions that are Under review, Accepted, or Rejected.
