Start and complete Tasks

A Task is one unit of Contributor work within a Campaign. Its fields, media, instructions, AI policy, Reward, and lease time come from the current Pipeline step.

Start from My Work

Open My Work. Work is grouped by Campaign, and the current columns are Step, Availability, Pay, and Your quota.

1. Confirm the Campaign and Step.
2. Check Availability, Pay, and Your quota. Availability can include Available, Running low, or Paused with the campaign.
3. Select Start on a Step row, or select Claim next task for the first available item.
4. If you already hold a lease, select Continue.

You can also start from a Task row under Start earning rewards on Campaign Detail.

Complete work in the Task workspace

1. Wait for the workspace to confirm that the Task has been claimed.
2. Read the Task, Step, lease countdown, Quota, and AI policy shown in the Task workspace.
3. Expand Instructions & rubric and read the acceptance criteria.
4. Complete every required field in the form.
5. Select Save draft if you need to leave temporarily.
6. When the work is complete, select Submit & next task.
7. Confirm the success message, or check for a new record in Contributions.

Release lease returns the current Task to the pool. An expired lease can also return the Task to the queue; go back to My Work to claim again.

Resolve common blockers

• No work available: return to My Work or try again later.
• Not eligible / blocked: return to Campaign Detail and check readiness.
• Quota reached: use the rolling 24-hour recovery countdown shown on the Task row.
• Lease expired: return to My Work and claim again.
• Campaign paused / closing / finished: choose another available Campaign.
• Field validation error: correct the field identified by the page and submit again.

Completion check

A new Submission appears in Contributions. A successful submission is not the same as acceptance or a Reward.
